I've had the game for a while now, the guitar was DOA right out of the box.(Christmas morning!) EA tech support diagnosed it as the game itself and promised to send a new disc. It's been 2 weeks, and still no disc. It turns out it was the Guitar, jammed in the down position. So I guess I'll have to go through the manufacturer's warranty program like many others before me.
Even after all that, I still really enjoy the game.

I thought this game was going to be fun for the kids. And I thought that us parents would get a kick out of it, too. But I never expected all of us playing Rock Band 2 for 6 hours straight!! only one pee break! (that's why the singer was so hoarse ;)
This was so much fun... and it still is. We bought an extra guitar so everyone could play along. The drums get used, even when the game is off - too funny.

Lots of laughter!
Content: game, drums, microphone and guitar
Consider buying the microphone stand so they can play and sing altogether but it is very hard to do both (unless you know the song by heart!)
kids 8 & 11 yo love to play

It was cumbersome to bring the Rock Band kit all the way from Canada to Rio de Janeiro, Brasil but it was most definitely worth it. I have an 8-year old and we have formed a band (him on the guitar and myself on drums) and we have loads of fun every night when I come back from work. I am now looking forward to my first Rock Band party (inviting friends and have some friendly competition)!!! Will also shoot some videos and put on YouTube!!! If you like music, you will like this game.

This Wii game really rocks! The special edition comes complete with everything so no need to purchase extras. We had a problem with the mic, but a quick call to the number provided gave us efficient service and a new mic was mailed to us. Small children (under 6) will find it too complicated, but older kids, tweens, teens, and adults will find it entertaining and challenging. Fun to play in groups. The selection of songs is great but I can't wait to download more new songs as you start to tire of the ones provided.
